Emergency Pet Shelter

Start Now

Leaving behind a pet in a domestic violence situation is a barrier to accessing safe shelter for many survivors. Survivors will sometimes stay because they can’t bear the thought of what may happen to their animal. That cycle of hopelessness can end for clients in our service area thanks to a series of grants from Purina; the nonprofit, RedRover; and the Tracy Webb Foundation. New emergency housing especially for animals makes leaving an abusive situation with your pet possible. We can host a limited number of pets, based on availability and resources. Please contact us for more information.

Shelter

Start Now

We provide an emergency, temporary stay to victims of domestic violence
and sexual assault who are fleeing a violent or abusive situation.

Our shelters offer a warm, welcoming, and safe environment for men, women and children.
Our goal is to create some stability to individuals and families during a time of chaos.
During their stay, our clients will be provided with food, clothing, and any other essentials for their basic needs.

We believe in the importance of connecting our clients to services within our program such as court accompaniment, supportive counseling, youth services, as well as other vital community resources for any additional needs, although clients can access these services on a voluntary basis.

Call us today to speak with an advocate regarding safe housing or other resources!
