(SAFE)

Friends of SAFE is a group of volunteers committed to keeping SAFE functional through events organized for such a purpose.

Rappahannock Legal Services (RLS) is a non-profit corporation that provides free civil legal assistance to low income individuals and families. They have three offices located in Fredericksburg, Tappahannock, and Culpeper to better serve area residents. RLS is funded by the federal, state, and local governments, as well as by a wide range of local individuals, churches, banks, agencies, and organizations, including the Rappahannock United Way and Piedmont United Way.

Virginia Sexual and Domestic Violence Action Alliance (VSDVAA) is a non-profit agency dedicated to raising awareness about sexual and domestic violence, increasing public access to resources and services, offering opportunities for professional development and intiating legislative and policy change that will bring Virginia closer to our vision: a world where relationships between people are respectful, healthy and safe.

The Virginia Anti-Violence Project works to address and end violence, with a specific focus on lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer communities across Virginia.

The Virginia Poverty Law Center (VPLC) provides leadership, support, training, public education and advocacy to address the civil legal needs of Virginia's low-income population.

Serves as the only center in the nation that provides information regarding 5,000 local and nationwide shelters and service providers available for victims, friends and family who often call for life saving help. The hotline operates 24 hours a day in over 150 languages with a TTY line available for the deaf.

The Mission of the National Coalition Against Domestic Violence (NCADV) is to organize for collective power by advancing transformative work, thinking and leadership of communities and individuals working to end the violence in our lives.

National Latino Alliance for the elimination of Domestic Violence

The Office on Violence Against Women (OVW), a component of the U.S. Department of Justice, provides national leadership in developing the nation's capacity to reduce violence against women through the implementation of the Violence Against Women Act (VAWA).

The International Violence Against Women Act (I-VAWA) is an important effort by the U.S. government to decrease violence against women and girls globally. The bill will help support survivors, hold perpetrators accountable, and prevent violence. The bill would increase U.S. diplomatic attention to decreasing violence against women and incorporate best practices into U.S. foreign assistance.

Men Stopping Violence works locally, nationally, and internationally to dismantle belief systems, social structures, and institutional practices that oppress women and children and dehumanize men themselves.
